Bernard is co-founder of Auriga Partners venture capital management firm. He is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and has a PhD in Physics from the University of Orsay. He specialized in the Life Sciences sector. Bernard began his career doing research in physics at the University of Orsay, and then at the University of California at Berkeley, and later at CNRS, the French national scientific research centre. He also held various posts at the French Ministry of Industry and Research. After assisting with the creation of the Crédit Lyonnais’ Venture Capital arm, he specialized in technology driven venture capital.
